Deck the halls with bells of snow balls, or something like that! But when it comes to mid winter party ideas, I’ve got a snow ball bunch of them to share with you, including some beautiful decoration ideas and how to make your table look like something out of a magazine!

Mid Winter Party Ideas

Parties totally rock no matter what the season, which is why I have them all year round. Over here in the Southern Hemisphere, some of us would love to have a winter, snowy Christmas, but the weather just doesn’t play ball. So we have started to have Christmas in July when ‘The weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful….’

So I’ve seen lots of people using traditional Christmas colours of red, green and white at a lot of mid winter parties. I’ve also seen some fantastic gold and silver themed Christmas parties, as well as some summer in the middle of winter parties using bright colours like aqua, yellow and lime green! So to help you out, I’ve put together a collection of three of  my favourite mid winter party ideas.

  • Glitter Garland Heart - GreenTraditional Christmas theme – I totally would use a red tablecloth with green napkins, but would add a forest like touch with some pine branches and pine needles around the back half of the table. Then I’d hang my green glitter heart garlands along with red honeycomb tissue balls and call it mistletoe! Watch out everyone!

  • 3 Colour Yellow FanCheer up winter theme – I’d party like I was in the islands at this party, using bright yellow 3 layer fans as tropical flowers on the wall and a polka dot lime green tablecloth covered with green tableware and large paper leaves I would cut out, as I can’t rely on my garden producing the goods during the cold season.

  • Tissue Tassel Garland - BlueIcy frozen theme – Use lots of glass and lots of little tea lights for this one! Some ice flake shaped glitter sprinkled over a blue tablecloth with  blue tissue tassles around the edge of the table looks so cool! Brr, I’m Frozen already!

So have fun planning and organising your party and let me know how it goes! Better yet, send me an invite!!!!
