Planning a wedding can be very stressful, add to that 3 children and a job…..
The bride, Emily, was the winner of our custom engagement dessert table, with her wedding date just around the corner she chose to have the dessert table styled for her big day instead.
Emily and her Hubby to be, Sean, clearly had a winning streak, they were also winners of the Bride and Groom Magazine Wedding Package (now that is a mouthful). But really this was not down to luck but more talent, you see Emily is an amazing artist, her winning entry included the sketched portraits of her family which were to be incorporated into her wedding styling.
Emily knew her style, theme and colour and provided me with a mood board, which enabled me to see her vision. But being a busy working Mum and Bride to be she was happy for me to do the rest, giving me the freedom to put our ideas into reality.
The Wedding Venue, Gracehill Vineyard Estate has stunning high pitched ceilings and a very elegant feel about it. I wanted to go with a soft setup and the use of a Chiffon and Lace backdrop with soft lighting was the perfect choice.
This was my first wedding dessert table, and there is certainly added pressure, but Emily was amazing to work with and it was such a pleasure to be able to create something amazing for their big day.
